Rated R, 2 hour 12 Minutes
Starring: Bruce Willis
The first of his 4 Die Hard movies he made and an excellent action flick. Like always, he does a great acting job.I give the movie a B+.
Here is what the cover has to say:
High above the city of L.A. a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. But one man has managed to escape detection... an off-duty cop. He's alone... tired... and the only chance anyone has.
Bruce Willis stars as New York City Detective John McClane, newly arrived in Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia). But as McClane waits for his wife's office party to break-up, terrorists seize control of the building. While the terrorist leader, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) and his savage henchman (Alexander Godunov) round up hostages, McClane slips away unnoticed. Armed with only a service revolver and his cunning, McClane launches his own one-man war. A crackling thriller from beginning to end, Die Hard explodes with heartstopping suspense.
The movie starts with McClane in the airplane, flying to L.A. A Limo driver picks him up and brings him to a building.
He's getting ready to go to his wife's Christmas Party.
McClane is trying to find out what's going on.
Trying to inform the outside of what is going on
McClane is moving around in vents.
He's slowly beating the bad guys.
By now McClane has been hurt, but he's far from giving up.
McClane is jumping through the windows of another floor.
He's finishing one off... then blows his gun like in a Western movie.
Happily ever after.
